As a stone that falls into water initiates the ripple-effect, so do we as individuals, as teams and businesses cause ripples wherever we go. This image aptly describes Elke’s motivation and passion: to help individuals, teams and businesses create dynamic intentional ripples within their own lives and their sphere of influence.
Elke’s years of experience since 1998 as Occupational Therapist in Adult Mental Health (both in the UK and in SA) enabled her to gain insight into the psychology and behaviour of people, and how the reality of healthy self-awareness leads to healthy self-management which can in turn influence their own lives and others quite dramatically in a positive way.
Since 2008 she implemented those same principles within the workplace and the following statement proved to be true: self-awareness is needed by both the employee and employer!
Facets of Growth has, since its inception in 2009, seen its purpose in facilitating deeper awareness among individuals, teams and businesses, to better understand their “who” and “why”, decide on what they stand for (and what they don’t stand for) and develop healthy strategies that bring about a culture of influence.

After a career of 18 years in the corporate world, Annemarie started her own business, The Productivity Lab CC. She has a thorough understanding of all the factors that can hinder a company’s productivity and her passion for people drives her to create a working environment where individuals can perform optimally, by focusing on and applying their innate strengths and working in an environment best suited to their personalities and workstyle preferences. Her natural ability to find practical and realistic solutions to problems, combined with attention to detail equip her with the necessary skills to create a streamlined and productive working environment.
She fully supports that fact that employees’ personalities and differences in coping mechanisms undeniably play a role in the link between stress and productivity, but since we cannot change individuals, we should direct our efforts to understanding our employees and examining how working conditions can be modified to increase teamwork, decrease stress, increase job satisfaction and thereby increase productivity and profits. Once employees experience less stress and become happier at work, we can expect an increase in productivity.

Rob Galloway is a Customer Experience Practitioner, Registered Leadership Coach and Mentor, CX Facilitator and Trainer specializing in customer centric awareness and associated behavior.
Focus areas include individual leadership and small group coaching around CX centricity awareness. Customer satisfaction measurement and reporting with a focus on service recovery and client retention.
Rob served thirty-four years in the South African Navy in the weapons electronics field reaching the rank of Warrant Officer 1st Class. After leaving the Navy in 1997 he studied psychology and executive coaching with a focus on customer experience and leadership development that was supportive of employee engagement within organizations.
He has a passion for people and their ability to grow and to learn. Clients include both corporate as well as public service organizations in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban. Rob’s specialty is with facilities management industry.
He has been actively involved with the following volunteer services, “The Haven night shelter” and victim support South African Police Services, as both a trauma counsellor and trainer for the last fifteen years.

Through Affect Consulting, my advisory and facilitator business, I work closely with individuals, teams and their business as a whole. In order to touch on just a percentage of a client’s full potential, I use various processes, tools and methodologies, taking the journey with them and teaching them the necessary skills to initiate positive changes in their lives and organisations.
I am a consummate and tenaciously positive person and I believe my success has come to me because of this. I am a bit of a dog with a bone, in the nicest way possible, of course, always pushing through, looking for the right solution to the problem at hand.

I use a few salient tools with my clients, the i3 Personality Assessment being one of them. i3 was designed to increase self-awareness and enable stronger relationships within teams and I have found this an invaluable tool with my clients. From there, I use the Value Builder Program to further focus on the various elements of running a business, and in addition, specific surveys incorporating staff satisfaction, employee engagement and customer satisfaction. To bring it all together I also use Coach Accountable, which helps me manage the relationship, easily communicate and mutually set goals with my clients. With all these tools, I can ascertain best where your business needs focused assistance, where your managerial competence is sitting and how effective your leadership is.
